Ballajura Primary School publishes a newsletter every two weeks using schoolzine. This is a great way to keep up to date with what is happening in and around the school. Schoolzine is an interactive newsletter which can be accessed wherever you have the internet alternatively, you can access our newsletter with your mobile phone, iPad or tablet using the schoolzine app. Parents are encouraged to subscribe to our newsletter.
Ballajura Primary School is committed to providing high-quality educational programs for its students. Assessment, planning and reporting are integral to the achievement of these outcomes. Our goal is to provide constructive, effective and timely feedback to students, parents and teachers.
At the beginning of the new school year, each class teacher will communicate with parents to outline their expectations and teaching program. If you have any concerns about your child’s schooling, you are encouraged to make an appointment with the teacher.
You will be given a formal opportunity to discuss your child’s progress at parent-teacher meetings. However, if you have any concerns, don’t wait, please make an appointment to discuss these concerns as they arise with the relevant teacher.
If you need an interpreter, ask us to call the interpreter service. This service is free.
Connect is our online communication platform which links home, classroom and the school administration. Each family has their own unique P number which allows them to log on either via a free app which they can download onto their phone or they can log into a secure portal through the internet. Quite simply, Connect allows parents to; communicate easily with teachers, stay informed about school activities and events, and view their child’s absences; anywhere and on any device. Connect is a Department of Education initiative and as so all, of your child’s personal information is secure. Ballajura Primary School also distribute end of semester reports via Connect. No paper copies are sent home.
